Assessor
We are a NABERS Accredited Assessor, sustainability consultants who are trained and accredited to perform NABERS ratings. The National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) measures the true environmental performance of Australian buildings. As NABERS assessors, we conduct physical assessments of buildings to collect and then verify the data required to provide a NABERS rating as part of our building management service.
NABERS rating ranges from one to six stars for buildings efficiency across:
- Energy
- Water
- Waste and
- Indoor environment

How it works
Once we have collected the information and calculated the rating, our assessors submit it to the NABERS Technical Team, who carry out an audit of the information before certifying the building with the final rating.
Buildings are responsible for 40% of the world’s carbon emissions and use approximately:
- 40% of the world’s energy
- 30% of the world’s available drinking water
NABERS customers have saved an average of 30-40% on their energy over 10 years and are helping to save our planet. Therefore, environmentally friendly buildings are better for the bottom line, better for staff and clients, and better for the planet. In addition, a good NABERS rating positively affects the resale values of a commercial property.
The Australian government has committed to a 26-28% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (under 2005 levels) by 2030. It is already compulsory for larger commercial buildings to obtain an NABERS rating. We believe that the time is almost at hand when it will be compulsory for Strata buildings to have a NABERS rating.
